The album is, for the most part, a reversed version of the comedy hip-hop album Joe Hawley Joe Hawley. the album is most likely a way to get around copyrights, as much of Joe Hawley Joe Hawley relied on samples. The only track that seems to remain unchanged between releases is Aristotle's Denial, which is titled "ΔΙAΨΕYΣH TOU APIΣTOTEΛH" on Bandcamp[1].

The album was initially released exclusively on bandcamp on 16th April, 2019,[2] but was later released to Spotify[3] and Apple Music[4] due to demand.

On 12th May, 2019, a video advertisement for the reversed album premiered on YouTube, again featuring The Ad Twins, this time, speaking in reverse. The video confirms that the reversed album is a necessity to get around copyright issues, and makes reference to Joe's Miracle Musical project.[5][6]

On November 9th, 2023, γɘlwɒH ɘoႱ γɘlwɒH ɘoႱ was taken off of streaming services for unknown reasons, but was officially released back to the public over a year later on November 20th, 2024, along with Special the day before and Yes Please &/or Weird Bed a day before Special.
