The Ghost and Molly McGee is an animated musical comedy by co-creators Bob Roth and Bill Motz created for the Disney Channel. Tally Hall member Rob Cantor has produced multiple songs for the show and is his second time working with executive producer Steve Loter, who worked with Rob on Happy Monster Band. The Ghost and Molly McGee also marks one of many collaborations Rob has had with Disney.

An EP titled Music from The Ghost and Molly McGee was released to help promote the show and includes 5 songs from the show. These are the title theme, Just Give, Abraham Lincoln, Awesome Best Friends Day, and Together Forever.

Trivia

  • Scratch, one of the main characters, shares a voice actor with Master Shake from Aqua Teen Hunger Force.
  • Ashly Burch was a fan of Tally Hall before finding out Rob would be composing for the show.[2]
  • Prior to the show’s release, a Spotify playlist of songs that inspired the show was uploaded by co-creator Bill Motz.[3] The first song in the playlist is Ghost by Rob Cantor. This was confirmed by Motz to have hinted to Rob’s involvement as composer for the show.[4]
