Composition

Lyrics
(So, uhh, this is space.) (What are we doing here?) The watch on the end of your wrist (Made of stars, made of stars) Keeps time that ceased to exist (Made of stars, made of stars) The tingling in your hands (Made of stars, made of stars) That voice making demands (Made of stars, made of stars) WE ARE IN SPACE (We are in space) WE ARE IN SPACE (We're in space.) The oil in your car (Made of stars, made of stars) Your drink upon the bar (Made of stars, made of stars) The lines writing in your face (Made of stars, made of stars) The red giants way out in space (Made of stars, made of stars) WE ARE IN SPACE (We are in space) WE ARE IN SPACE (I'm telling you, man) (The saxophone) [Saxophone Solo] Alright, that's enough. I SAID THAT'S ENOUGH! The silkiness of your sheets (Made of stars, made of stars) The AstroTurf under your cleats (Made of stars, made of stars) The Tricentennial Man (Made of stars, made of stars) All your hopes and plans (Made of stars, made of stars) WE ARE IN SPACE (I'm telling you, man) WE ARE IN SPACE (We're in space.) The water in your bath The water in your carafe The water in the chaff The water broken in your better half The water at the bottom of the ocean The water causing great commotion The water fuels the human race WE ARE IN SPACE (We are in space) WE ARE IN SPACE (You're in space.) The faces of your mind (Made of stars, made of stars) The phantom left behind (Made of stars, made of stars) The quiet thrill you face (Made of stars, made of stars) When you escape this escapeless place (Made of stars, made of stars) WE ARE IN SPACE (We are in space) (We are in space) (We are in space) (We are in space)
