Good Night (T.H.I.S. Episode)

Good Night is the tenth, and final, episode of Tally Hall's Internet Show, which premiered on their website January 19, 2009. The episode runs 10 minutes and 53 seconds and is best known for the music videos of the song Ruler Of Everything and Hidden In The Sand. The title of the episode is most likely meant to bookend the series, as the first episode was titled Good Day. It could, however, also pay homage to The Beatles song of the same name, as Tally Hall have proven themselves time and time again to be fans of The Beatles, specifically the White Album.

{Cut to the band members laying on the grass, watching the sky as calming piano music plays. After a while, Andrew begins talking}

ANDREW: You guys ever wonder about stuff?

EVERYONE ELSE: No.

{Cut to Rob Cantor in a black room moving in stop motion. A Chiptune cover of Welcome to Tally Hall plays. Rob puts his hands together and pulls them apart to reveal his name on a yellow block and moves into the background. Ross Federman moves into the foreground and pushes a grey block against his head with his right hand, it comes out the other side of his head and the grey block with his name on it gets grabbed by his right hand. Ross moves into the background. Joe Hawley comes into the foreground doing a finger gun motion, the red block with his name on it comes out like a flag from a prop gun. Joe moves into the background. Andrew comes into the foreground, grabs the screen, which flashes green for a millisecond, he pulls the block back until it freezes on him holding the block with his name on it. Andrew moves into the background. Zubin moves into the foreground, unfolding the block, which has his name on it when he moves it down slightly. Zubin moves into the background, the other members of the band move next to him, then go into the foreground, but are interrupted by a falling curtain. The logo for the show falls down attached to strings as a voice sings "Tally Hall" }

RYAN: (reading a message) Dear Tally Hall. Today at school I was attacked by ninjas. What would you guys do in a situation like that? Ilene LeamoTon, Sarasota Springs, Florida.

{Ryan crumples up the letter}

RYAN: I have a better question for you, Ilene. Dear Ross, when you become a father, will you favor one child over the other?

{Cut to an older Ross sitting on a park bench. A child wearing a Tally Hall shirt comes up to him}

JACOB Hey, dad! Which one of us do you love the most?

ROSS: Jacob, you're my favorite child. I love you the most.

JACOB: Thanks, dad. I love you the most, too.

{Jacob returns to the playground. Then, a kid wearing a "Don't not listen to Tally Hall" shirt walks up to Ross}

DAVID: Hey, dad. Jacob said that you said that you love him more than me.

ROSS: David. That's silly. Go along and play.

{David returns to the playground while his father side-eyes him}
