Cojum Dip is an experimental metal/jazz/opera/rock band started by Bora Karaca in Ann Arbor, MI around 2004. They gained some popularity in the AA area and had one of the most insane, entertaining live acts of all time. Unfortunately, after their last concert at The Blind Pig where the band covered Inside The Mind Of Simon, Bora moved to Los Angeles in 2006 and the band was put on hold.
A reunion show took place in 2008 (date needs confirmation) at a short-lived venue called The Alibi in Ann Arbor, MI, which no longer exists.
Currently, Bora is putting together a new chapter of Cojum Dip after finding some new band members in the LA area and will soon start rocking the world again. On February 23rd, 2010, an HD version of the "What is Cojum Dip?" video was uploaded to Facebook with the caption "COMING SOON"
In October 2012 Cojum Dip released two Instrumental Megaman-themed cover albums entitled "Videojuegos: Volume 1"[1] & "Videojuegos: Volume 2"[2]
On the 12th of January 2014 Cojum Dip released a self-titled album on their bandcamp page which features additional vocals by Joe Hawley[3]
In 2019, Cojum Dip's self-titled album was uploaded to streaming services[4], as well as a piano version of 'Moon Waltz'[5] Cojum Dip also featured on Aristotle's Denial which was the only un-reversed song from Joe Hawley Joe Hawley to be uploaded to streaming services.[6]
