The Start of Our City is a song by Tally Hall, though the writer is unknown. It is one of many songs played at their residency shows at Union Hall in February of 2009. It was only played the first week, and was described as "definitely a very New-York-y song, it's fugal, and anyone who's spent enough time in midtown Manhattan will feel it right away." It was also described as sounding "unfinished". The status of this song is currently unknown. In January 2022, a poor audio recording of the song surfaced and was uploaded onto YouTube by a user named spid.[1]
