Casey Shea first met Tally Hall through MySpace then later opened for the band December 15, 2005 at a show in Bound Brook, New Jersey in a venue called Hamilton St. Cafe & Stage. He filled in for Joe Hawley on Tally Hall's March 2010 tour when Hawley couldn't join the rest of the band due to unforeseen circumstances.


History

He was born on November 27, 1979 in Baton Rouge, Louisiana. At the age of five, his family relocated to Ponte Vedra, Florida. After graduating from Florida State University, he moved to Nashville, Tennessee to pursue a career in songwriting and recording. In January 2004 he moved to New York to continue pursuing his music, quickly finding a home in the open mic scene. His debut solo album "Take The Bite" which blended folk, rock, and psychedelia was released in 2006, and he was signed to the indie label Family Records in 2007. During the first six months of 2009 he released one single each month, one of which being 'Roll Your Windows Down' which was featured on the TV Show One Tree Hill. A major musical influence is The Beatles.
