Lyrics

If I could go back to last night at the dance
I'd ask you to dance with me
If I could approach you for your number
I would call you as soon as I got home

The first time I saw you I saw you
My heart fell to pieces
The first time I imagined being closer
It could have happened

Last night I had my chance (ohh ahh)
To hold you in my arms and slowly dance (ohh ahh)
But I couldn't ask you at the time

And I know it's just the same (oh oh oh oh)
And I feel it's just the same (oh oh oh oh oh)
And I know it's just the same (oh oh yeah)
And I feel
It's just the same

I forgot what it feels like
to feel something good
I remember now
I don't care if some other guy's in your life
I hope you could love me

Last night I had my chance (ohh ahh)
To hold you in my arms and slowly dance (ohh ahh)
But I couldn't ask you at the time

And I know it's just the same (oh oh oh oh)
And I feel it's just the same (oh oh oh oh oh)
And I know it's just the same (oh oh yeah)
And I feel

Will I adore you on a Thursday night
Will I remember you on Saturday
And I'll just think of all the time

And I know it's just the same (oh oh oh oh)
And I feel it's just the same (oh oh oh oh oh)
And I know it's just the same (oh oh yeah)
And I feel
