History
Overview
The demos were recorded in Joe Hawley's attic/bedroom using a digital camcorder and recording each track one by one. These were then edited together on Final Cut Pro on Joe's Mac. Banana Man is the only original track. After the recording of the Welcome To Tally Hall EP, the band would head back to the original Party Boobytrap recordings and touch them up a bit for Complete Demos, whether that be minor mixing issues or new overdubs.
After the release of the Welcome To Tally Hall EP, the band decided to combine their two EPs into one compilation CD. The band would remix and overdub parts onto their original Party Boobytrap recordings to touch them up for its release. Joe Hawley's Banana Man is the only original track on this compilation, which was recorded and released as a single in November 2003.

Tally Hall released it on CD in November of 2004 and would sell it at both concerts and their website, some being signed by the band themselves. Tracks would also be uploaded to sites like Broadjam, Indie911, and the band's website.
Most of the tracks went on to be retooled and re-recorded for Marvin's Marvelous Mechanical Museum, with the exception of Stationary Love and (I Know) It's Just The Same.

Most of the tracks went on to be retooled and re-recorded for Marvin's Marvelous Mechanical Museum, with the exception of Stationary Love and (I Know) It's Just The Same. It is unknown why these were not re-recorded but its possible they considered them not good enough to record.
Drummer and gray tie Steve Gallagher would leave the band in the middle of May 2004, leading to new drummer Ross Federman taking his place on the album cover. Steve still performs drums on the demos though, as they had been recorded before his leaving.

In December of 2015, the album would be re-released on Bandcamp This is due to Ross joining the band after those demos were recorded but before the culmination and release of Complete Demos.
* Song credits on Broadjam.com reveal that Joe Hawley and Steve Gallagher were two of the main producers of the album.
