The demos were recorded in Joe Hawley's attic/bedroom using a digital camcorder and recording each track one by one. These were then edited together on Final Cut Pro on Joe's Mac. Banana Man is the only original track on the album and marks the last recording [[Steve Gallagher]] contributed to before leaving [[Tally Hall]] in 2004.

After the recording of the Welcome To Tally Hall EP, the band would head back to the original Party Boobytrap recordings and touch them up a bit for Complete Demos, whether that be minor mixing issues or new overdubs.

Tally Hall released it on CD in 2004 and would sell it at both concerts and their website, some being signed by the band themselves. Tracks would also be uploaded to sites like Broadjam, Indie911, and the band's website.
