This demo was made for the spiced rum brand Captain Morgan for use in a commercial, as the song uses the brand's signature slogan "Got a little captain in you?" and the brand is known for their spiced rums. The lyrics very clearly paint a portrait of pirates, which is what their mascot Captain Morgan is.
It is unknown why this song never aired as a commercial, but it is very likely either higher ups at Diageo rejected it, or one Tally Hall member simply didn't like it.
