Mr. F is the moniker Ross Federman goes by when he DJs or remixes.[1] However, he has also been known to be credited as "Ross Federman PHDJ"[2] and "DJ Ross Federman of Tally Hall"[3]
Ross has been DJing since around the time Tally Hall moved to New York in 2008. He became friends with some DJs and found much interest in it. His specialty is mash-ups, where a DJ will mix 2 or more songs together. Mr. F can usually be found DJing around the Brooklyn/NYC area, although he's also done gigs in Boston and Ann Arbor.
Releases
His first release as MR.F., appropriately titled Mix Tape, is a mashup album of 14 tracks. It was released digitally in May 2009 and is available for free download here: [1]
On October 6th, 2009, he released Mix Tape 2 in the same fashion. It can be downloaded here: [2]
In March 2010 he contributed a remix of 'Horizons' by An Horse to their Beds Rearranged EP.[4][5]
On September 7th 2011 Mr. F and Ryan Brady would release a remix of Dress and Tie by Charlene Kaye ft. Darren Crisss.[6]
In June 2011 Shane Maux would release 'The Good Company EP' which came from Federman reaching out to Maux, asking if he wanted to "rap over some beats he made". The 4 tracks were produced by Ross Federman and Ryan Brady.[7] Maux would go on to collaborate with Ross again in 2012 as a vocalist on the the ミラクルミュージカル song Labyrinth.
In 2012 he released a remix of 'I Dream an Ocean' by Charlene Kaye, as part of the deluxe edition of her album Animal Love. Kaye also collaborated with Federman on the ミラクルミュージカル song Labyrinth. On this track he is not credited as "Mr. F", instead it is listed as a "Ross Federman Remix".[8][9]
On July 6th 2013, Federman would DJ at Top of the Park, Ann Arbor. He released his full set on Soundcloud, credited as "Ross Federman".[10]
Later in 2013, Mr. F was announced to DJ in Ann Arbor for "The Puck Drops Here", a New Years Eve celebration event hosted by The Ann Arbor Area Convention & Visitors Bureau. A couple days before the event, on the 29th of December 2013, Matthew Altruda tweeted that Ross would put his set up for download after performing at #A2NYE. AKA: "The Puck Drops Here.[11] On January 1st, 2014, Ross released Mix Tape 3[3]
In August 2019 Ross DJ'd between bands in Ann Arbor, MI at the SSC Napoli vs. FC Barcelona Pre-Game Festival. He uploaded both his sets to Soundcloud.[12]

The Name Mr. F is a reference to the television comedy series, "Arrested Development." The meaning of Mr. F is specifically described in season 3, episode 5 of the show, appropriately titled, Mr. F.[citation needed]
