Complete Demos is the combination of the band's previous two EP's, Party Boobytrap and Welcome To Tally Hall EP. It was released on November 11th, 2004 on CD.[1]

Overview

After the release of the Welcome To Tally Hall EP, the band decided to combine their two EPs into one compilation CD. The band would remix and overdub parts onto their original Party Boobytrap recordings to touch them up for its release, and feature both Stationary Love from the first two variants of Party Boobytrap EP and Banana Man from the third variant of the EP. However, it does not contain the Super Mario Bros. Overworld Theme, present on some releases of the EP.[2]

Drummer and gray tie Steve Gallagher would leave the band in the middle of May 2004, leading to new drummer Ross Federman taking his place on the album cover. Steve still performs drums on the demos however, as they had been recorded before his leaving.[1]

Complete Demos was released on CD on November 11th, 2004, and was sold at concerts and on their website, some being signed by the band members themselves. Tracks would also be uploaded to sites like Indie911, Purevolume,[3] and the band's website.

Most of the tracks went on to be retooled and re-recorded for Marvin's Marvelous Mechanical Museum, with the exception of Stationary Love and (I Know) It's Just The Same.

On December 15th 2015,[4] the album would be re-released on Bandcamp[1] alongside Admittedly Incomplete Demos, a collection of unfinished demo tracks, and previously unreleased material.[5] The album used to be available at a "pay-what-you-want" price, before being listed at $9.99 since February 9th, 2018.[6]
